Purdy FFA hosts annual barnwarming celebration

October 24, 2018
Lauren Schallert, Purdy FFA reporter

The Purdy FFA Chapter hosted its 2018 Chapter Barnwarming on Friday, October 12. Over 40 FFA members gathered to decorate, prepare games, and have fun hosting this annual community event. This year’s theme, Redneck Olympics, featured the royalty candidates and their classmates competing in a series of games, including a toilet paper toss, redneck jousting, a push mower race, seed spitting, dumpster diving, and an obstacle course. The sophomore candidates, Dawson Abramovitz and Audrey Lowe, were crowned 2018 Barnwarming King and Queen.
