Purdy girls volleyball season opens with a loss at home

On Friday, August 30, the Purdy High School girls volleyball team opened the season with a home game against Niangua.
Due to low numbers, only the junior varsity teams were able to play against each other. In the only set of the night, Niangua defeated Purdy 25-20.
Purdy leaders for the game include: Kinsley Mattingly, who leads the team in kills; Bre Perkins, who leads the team in assists; and Kylie Wood, who leads the team in aces.
With the season well underway, Purdy will travel to Pierce city on Thursday, September 5.
