Purdy Homecoming candidates announced

    Purdy High School will crown its 2021 Homecoming royalty on Friday, January 29, in conjunction with the evening’s basketball competitions versus Seneca. This year’s theme is Homecoming Roadtrip.” Purdy’s cheer squad will host Homecoming Week events with special destination-themed dress-up days including Hawaii Monday, Texas Tuesday, Colorado Wednesday, Washington D.C. Thursday and Purdy Friday. This year’s royalty candidates are pictured clockwise, from top left: Freshmen Marlene Ochoa and Hunter Lee; Sophomores Addy Abramovitz and Jake Young; Seniors Bayleigh Robbins and Osiel Aldava; and Juniors Jasmine Holloway and Eli Webb. The coronation will take place between the JV and Varsity games. The JV contest begins at 6 PM. Masks are required when entering, exiting and moving about inside the building, but may be removed in the stands when social distancing can be maintained.
