Purdy kids showcased in annual talent show

Purdy High School freshman Makayla Mazza clogged her way into the Purdy's Got Talent judging panel's hearts on Friday, February 1, earning her the Overall Sweepstakes Medal in the 6th-12th Grade division for her routine, performed to "Born this Way." Mazza is the daughter of James and Jennifer Logan.
In addition to her beautiful vocal presentation of "Fireflies" at Purdy's annual school-wide talent show, seventh grader Leanna Moore also created an illuminating PowerPoint presentation as a background for her performance that earned her third place in the 6th-8th grade division on Friday, February 1. Moore is the daughter of Carl and Angela Moore.
Purdy Kindergarten Vocalist Jordain Miller took the K-5 Overall Sweepstakes medal in his first appearance on the Purdy's Got Talent stage. Miller wowed the judges at the annual school-wide talent show on Friday, February 1st, with is vocal solo, "When I Look Up." Miller is the son of Michael and Julie Miller.
Easton Hughes (left) demonstrates his Taekwondo prowess, assisted by Brennan Hawkins (right), in the duo's routine performed to "Kung Fu Fighting." Hughes and Hawkins took first place in the 3rd-5th grade division at Purdy's Got Talent. Hughes is the son of Joshua and Misty Hughes. Hawkins is the son of Terry and Jennifer Hawkins.
