Purdy Senior Caravan Announced

The Purdy High School graduating class of 2020 announces its first-ever senior caravan, an impromptu event organized by senior classmates.
Purdy Police Chief, Jackie Lowe, will lead a procession of seniors in their decorated vehicles through the streets of Purdy, beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 9.
The seniors invite all who are interested to cheer them on alongside the parade route, which will begin at the recycling center east of the high school, then proceed west on Highway C, north on Business 37, east on Washington, then south on 5th Street, back to the school.
The seniors will be joined by member of the Purdy Fire Protection District. The procession is otherwise limited to senior classmates and their vehicles.
The event will be broadcast live on the school district's Facebook page.
Those in attendance are reminded to practice CDC and health department-approved social distancing.
