Rear-end crash injures one, three unharmed

February 24, 2016
Charlea Estes

A two-car collision in the passing lane on MO 37 near Farm Road 2090 near Purdy injured one and left three unscathed late last week.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2002 Toyota Sienna van was stopped in the passing lane, waiting to make a left turn when another vehicle, a 1992 Chevolet Silverado pickup, rear-ended it on Friday, February 19, just before 6 p.m.
The driver of the Silverado, Zachary R. Hall, 21, of Cassville, received minor injuries but refused medical treatment. A 16-year-old passenger in his vehicle was not injured.
The driver of the Sienna, Jacqueline R. Cooper, 80, of Purdy, and her passenger, Jesse H. Cooper, 90, of Purdy, were both uninjured.
All occupants of both vehicles were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
