Are you registered to vote in Barry County?
If you are not registered to vote in Barry County, Wednesday, February 12, 2020, is the deadline to register to be eligible to vote in the Presidential Primary Election.
Please notify the Barry County Clerk's office if you have moved and have not updated your address or had a name change.
Absentee voting began Tuesday, January 28, 2020, and will go through Monday, March 9, 2020, at the Barry County Clerk’s Office in Cassville from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If you are unable to vote in person, you may send a written request to the office of Jill H. LeCompte, Barry County Clerk, 700 Main St. Suite 2, Cassville, MO 65625 or fax to (417) 847-5311. The clerk's office will need:
• Name physical address
• Mailing address
• Date of birth
• Last four (4) digits of social security number
• Phone number
• Reason for voting absentee and your signature.
The last day to request absentee ballot by mail is Wednesday, March 3, 2020, for the March 10, 2020, Presidential Preference Primary.
