June 6, 2018
Charlea Estes-Jones

Two people suffered minor injuries when a semi truck pulled into the path of their car and hit them head on over the weekend. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the wreck happened around 11:15 a.m. on Sunday morning, June 3.
The report states that Austin J. Faulkenbury, 20, of Bentonville, Ark., was driving a 2017 International northbound on Missouri 76 and 112 about a mile south of Cassville. Faulkenbury turned into the path of a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro, driven by Misty D. Burnette, 34, of Cassville, and collided head on.
Burnette and a 12 year old minor* in the vehicle both suffered minor injuries in the crash and were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Cassville. Faulkenbury had no reported injuries at the time of the crash.
All three were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
The Camaro was totalled and towed from the scene by Brice’s Towing, of Cassville. The International sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
