Serious injury for driver who hit tree

A serious injury resulted in a woman being airlifted her car ran down an embankment outside of Shell Knob. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the driver of a 2007 Cadillac SRX was injured when she ran down an embankment and struck a tree.
Brandi J. Kissinger, 37, of Fordland, was driving southbound on Route M, four miles west of Shell Knob when she ran off the right side of the roadway. The Cadillac traveled down the embankment and struck a tree.
Kissinger suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Cox Hospital in Springfield. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The Cadillac was totaled and towed from the scene by US Auto, of Cassville.
