Shell Knob Chamber holds benefit poker run

The Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce held their pirate-themed Fireworks Poker Run Fundraiser Saturday, June 19, on Table Rock Lake, with all proceeds to benefit the annual Shell Knob Chamber Fire and Thunder Fireworks show.
The event started at the Subway Dock at 9:00 am, where boaters drew their first card. Participants then had until 4:00 pm to draw cards at Big Creek Resort dock, Lunker Landing Resort dock, Kings Harbor Resort dock and the final stop at King’s River Marina, where judges announced the top three best poker hands at 4:30 pm.
Josh Davison, Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce Vice President of the Board, was on hand to distribute the winnings. Jerry Page, of Derby, Kansas, took top hand with a flush. Second place went to Ryan Haggard, of Mano, with 3 jacks, with third place going to Tammy Haggard and daughter Rebekah Haggard, of Mano, with 2 pair.
