SKITS holiday play on tap, childcare available
November 3, 2021
It’s almost time for the magic of Christmas as the SKITS community players present a hilarious parody on the Hallmark movie genre. This zany, comical performance takes elements from six Hallmark movies and combines them into an evening of laughter, hope, romance, sadness, delight, disdain, and surprise, almost every human emotion that embodies the Hallmark movie theme, all portrayed by a colorful cast of characters.
SKITS is pleased to introduce eight new performers to the stage, including Maddye Campbell and Jeremiah Pendleton, of Shell Knob; Edie Thompson, and Cade and Micah Keeton, of Cassville; Willa and Rob Kerby, of Green Forest; and Ethan Hoover, of Aurora. These welcomed talents, along with our seasoned actors, will make for an evening of pure fun.
Now is the time to make plans for the “Holiday Movie Channel Movie Wonderthon” with its large cast of animated characters. Venture into the town of Hopewood Falls for a sleigh ride full of Christmas delight and laughter. This entertaining play will be performed November 12 and 13 at 6:30 p.m., and November 14 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Shell Knob. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at the door or online at the SKITS website.
Worried about what to do with your child(ren) while enjoying the show by SKITS? Noah’s Ark Daycare is offering childcare during the play for kids who are potty-trained through age 12. Fun kids’ activities are planned. Childcare cost is $15 per child. Only children of SKITS play attendees may be left at Noah’s Ark. Tickets must be shown when you dropping off your child at the daycare room.
