SUV-deer collision causes injury

A Cassville woman was injured over the weekend when she hit a deer on Route F, about seven miles south of Cassville. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the woman hit a deer, traveled off the roadway and subsequently struck an embankment.
The report states the Highway Patrol was dispatched to the crash around 5:40 p.m. on Sunday, December 4. Haley L. Jereczek, 23, of Cassville, was headed eastbound on Route F when she struck the deer in a 2001 GMC Denali. Jereczek was transported to Mercy Hospital of Cassville with moderate injuries. The Denali was extensively damage and was towed from the scene by Brice’s Towing.
Jereczek was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
