SW MO Coalition soliciting donations
for garage sale fundraiser

SW MO Coalition of Charities is accepting donations for a fundraiser for Barry & Lawrence Counties to benefit local non profits and community groups.
Arrangements can be made for donation drop-offs by contacting SW MO Coalition of Charities at 417.772.3611 by telephone or text or by sending a message via Facebook to Southwest Missouri Coalition of Charities.
The funds raised will be used for unmet needs within local service groups, including Project Rise, Foster Care, Respite Care, Habitat for Humanity, Temp/Transitional Housing, Youth Services, Childcare, OACAC, BL Developmental Center, Tri-County Pregnancy Center, RideShare, For the Kids, Life 360, His House Foundation, Domanko, Straight Edge, Resources of SW MO and Family Advocacy Solutions.
Funds will be used on items such as:
• Gas cards to get to and from work.
• Supplemental food for those who don’t qualify for SNAP.
• Needs for children entering foster care: clothing, hygiene, furniture, toys, books, athletic gear, etc.
• Graduation presents for foster children aging out of the foster care system.
• Health, dental & prescription co pays.
• Nutritional meals for homebound and disabled individuals.
• Fees for documents needed to apply for a job, occupy an apartment, job promotion or education continuation such as ged/hiset or degree. Examples of these documents are birth certificate, driver’s license, social security card, credit report.
• Childcare co-pays for an employed parent.
• Proposed hub in Monett for a NonProfit Center.
