SWMO Pet Breeders donate to Haven of the Ozarks
October 25, 2017

The Southwest Chapter of Missouri Pet Breeders Association held it’s annual free rabies clinic on September 16, 2017, at the Crowder College Community Building in Cassville. Dr. Elizabeth Reed, of Barry County Veterinary Services, was the attending veterinarian and many area dogs were given one year rabies vaccinations at no charge to the owner.
A food and supply drive for the Haven of the Ozarks was also sponsored by the Chapter with a large amount of dog food, cat food, cat litter, treats and cleaning supplies collected. Plans are already being made for the 2018 free rabies clinic. The Chapter will be sponsoring a booth at the Cassville Chili Cook-off on October 28, 2017, and will be holding a raffle for an iPad mini 128 gb and a Remington 12 gauge shotgun to raise funds for the 2018 rabies clinic.
