Task Force warrants lead to three charged with meth

The Ozarks Drug Task Force (ODTF) served two search warrants in Purdy last week, leading to charges against three different people for methamphetamine-related offenses.
According to affidavits of probable cause, the ODTF and the Barry County SWAT team served a search warrant at 403 4th Street in Purdy on Monday, December 19. The residence belonged to Bill Estes Dotson, 27, and his girlfriend, Larinda Mikkelson, who were not home at the time.
Once inside, officers found a baggie of methamphetamine, a glass meth pipe, marijuana grinder with marijuana inside, and various pills, including Diazepam, Oxycodone, Carisoprodol, and Alprazolam.
Upon further search, officers located an additional 8 grams of methamphetamine, several empty bags with residue, pipes and paraphernalia.
Officers then went to George’s in Butterfield where Dotson was employed and placed him under arrest.
Officers also served a search warrant at 402 East Highway C in Purdy, belonging to David Saville, 56, who was home at the time the warrant was served. Officers searched the home, finding six marijuana pipes, empty baggies, digital scale, marijuana grinder, rolling papers, and several more pipes, as well as Carisopridol and Hydrocodone pills, according to the report.
Officers placed Saville under arrest and transported him to the Barry County Jail.
Dotson and Mikkelson were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Saville was charged with distribution of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
Mikkelson has not been taken into police custody yet.
