Teen injured in Carr Lane wreck

A Cassville teenager was injured last week when the car she was driving hit a guardrail and overturned.
Courtney Rasmussen, 17, of Cassville, was driving eastbound on Highway 86 three miles east of Carr Lane on November 17 when she ran off the roadway, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. Her car struck a guardrail and then overturned. Crews responded to the wreck at around 5:45 p.m.
Rasmussen was transported via ambulance to a Springfield hospital with moderate injuries. Her car, a 2008 Honda Civic, was totaled. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
