Teen injured in SUV crash near Monett

A teen was injured after flipping an SUV near Monett on Sunday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Randy A. Lomeli, 18, of Monett, was headed northbound on Farm Road 1100 when he crashed.
Lomeli was driving a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder when he travelled off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 5. He was about two miles south of Monett.
Lomeli suffered moderate injuries and was transported by EMS to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The Pathfinder was totaled and towed from the scene by West 60 Auto.
