The Trump Shop supplies supporters

As of Monday, July 13, Cassville has its own Trump Shop, a sister shop to the one in Joplin. The Cassville store, managed by Laura Tolbert, of Cassville, carries t-shirts, caps, flags and other campaign materials that identify a person as a Trump supporter.
“Our two bestsellers so far,” Tolbert said, “are t-shirts bearing the text, ‘Make Democrats cry again,’ and ‘If you don’t like Trump, then you probably won’t like me...’”
According to Tolbert, the owner of the Trump Shop stores, a retired circus owner, met Trump in 2015 when he rented an elephant from said owner prior to one of his campaign rallies.
“We are the first and only Trump Shop in Barry County,” Tolbert said.
Tolbert indicates she will have more merchandise available in upcoming weeks, including more rebel flags, caps and t-shirts.
“I enjoy operating the shop,” she said. “It gives me a chance to interact with like-minded people and learn their thoughts about the world.”
The Trump Shop is located at 498 State Highway 76 in Cassville, next door to Rocky’s KO Haircuts.
