Three charged with Washburn lawn mower theft
Neighbor holds men at gunpoint

The theft of a riding lawn mower results in suspects being held at gunpoint and charges against three Barry County men.
Tyler Spreeman, 20, Jeffrey Meier, 19, and Lucas Roller, 18, all of Cassville, have all been charged with the theft.
According to affidavits of probable cause, Spreeman, Meier and Roller went to a property on Farm Road 2240 in Washburn and loaded up a riding lawn mower and cart to steal it. Barry County Sheriff’s Department Detective Rob Evenson reported that a neighbor saw the suspects, followed them and stopped them, holding them at gunpoint until officers arrived to the scene.
The Troy Built riding mower stolen was valued at approximately $1,050.
Spreeman, Meier and Roller are all begin charged with burglary in the second degree and stealing of property valued at $750 or more. They are being held in the Barry County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or crop surety bonds.
