Three injured in Butterfield crash

     Three area residents were injured ina  two-car crash on Highway 37 in Butterfield on last Wednesday.
     According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a 2000 Honda Accord driven by Taylor N. Eagan, 20, of Exeter, failed to yield at an intersection and was struck by a 2012 Nissan Rogue driven by Jobi L. George, 41, of Seligman. Eagan was traveling westbound and George was traveling northbound when the crash occurred around 12:40 p.m. on November 28.
     Eagan was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Joplin for serious injuries. George and a five year-old passenger in her car were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Cassville for moderate injuries. All parties were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Both vehicles were totaled.
