Three injured when two trucks crashed near Monett

A two vehicle crash outside of Monett left three injured over the weekend. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a Chevrolet truck pulled into the path of a second GMC pickup on US 60 about half a mile east of Monett.
Edwin F. Gray, 19, of Aurora, was driving eastbound in a Chevrolet truck of unknown year when he turned into the path of a 1995 GMC Sierra truck headed westbound. The GMC was driven by Kelby B. Pettenhorst, 24, of Monett.
Pettenhorst suffered minor injuries in the crash. Pettenhorst’s passenger, Jason C. Rackley, 34, of Ozark, suffered moderate injuries in the crash. Both were transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
Gray had no reported injuries, however a 16 year old passenger* in his vehicle suffered minor injuries and was transported to Cox Hospital in Monett.
All parties were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash except Rackley.
Both vehicles were totalled and towed from the scene by West 60 Auto, of Monett.
