Two hurt after SUV hits tree

Two people from Monett were hurt after a wreck over the weekend. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Courtney D. Quessenberry, 33, of Pierce City, was driving a 2004 Buick SUV when the wreck occurred at 12:50 p.m. on Saturday, December 14.
According to the report, the vehicle was heading east on Stallion Bluff Road, five miles north of Shell Knob, when the driver lost control. The SUV ran off the road and hit a tree.
Quessenberry did not report any injuries in the crash. However, two passengers suffered moderate injuries. Misti D. Bradford, 41, of Shell Knob, and an unnamed 16 year old female were taken to Cox Monett hospital for treatment.
The 2004 Buick SUV had extensive damage. It was towed from the scene by Chris’s Towing, of Lampe.
This incident was investigated by Trooper DeHaan, of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D.
