Two implicated in shots fired in Monett

The Monett Police Department is looking for one suspect wanted in connection with a shooting at Memorys Night Club on Sunday night, July 30. Another suspect was already taken into custody. After speaking to the victim and witnesses at the scene, the suspect and driver were released by the department as Brandon Ramos, 22, of Monett, and Lacey Rivera, 30, of Monett.
On Sunday, Monett Police officers were dispatched to a fight in progress and shots fired at 108 Third Street in Monett. When officers arrived, they interviewed the victim, a 29 year old who was not injured, as well as witnesses. A press release stated that an altercation began between the suspect and the victim in the parking lot and eventually shots were fired. Officers did not believe the people involved in the altercation were patrons of Memorys.
The suspect and driver left in an unknown vehicle. The police are still looking for Ramos in connection with the incident. Rivera is being held at the Monett Justice Center pending charges.
Ramos is described as five feet four inches and 130 pounds. Ramos and Rivera were said to be travelling in a silver or tan Ford Mustang. Ramos is to be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
