Two were injured in a rear-ending crash southeast of Eagle Rock last week. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the crash was on Farm Road 2010 about  one and a half miles southeast of Eagle Rock.
Jeremiah A. Kuriatnyk, 39, of Holiday Island, Ark., was driving a 2004 Honda Accord northbound on the farm road when a second vehicle, a 1999 Nissan Altima, driven by Morgan R. Fraine, 21, also of Holiday Island, struck him from the rear.
A passenger in Fraine’s car, Angel Alvarado, 18, of Holiday Island, suffered moderate injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Kuriatnyk suffered minor injuries and was going to seek his own treatment. Fraine had no reported injuries.
All parties were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The Altima was totalled and towed from the scene by Brice’s Towing, of Cassville. The Accord was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.
