Two injured in single car Rte. W crash

Two people were inured in a single-vehicle wreck on Thursday last week.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a 2005 Honda Accord, driven by Sheri L. Meyer, 40, of Fairview, was travelling eastbound on Route W around 5:50 a.m. Three miles east of Wheaton, Meyer traveled off the left side of the roadway, began to overturn and struck a fence.
Both the driver and passenger Pamela J. Mitchell, 53, of Wheaton, were injured. Meyer was transported by EMS to Mercy Hospital in Joplin for minor injuries. Mitchell was transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin for moderate injuries.
Both women were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
