Charlea Estes

Two teens were injured on Sunday while they were riding personal watercrafts on Table Rock Lake. A 16 year old Monett boy and Sydney W. Birge, 18, of Verona, were both transported to Cassville’s Mercy Hospital for minor injuries after one watercraft hit another personal watercraft.
According to the boating incident report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Birge was stationary near Point 25 west of the Highway 39 bridge in Shell Knob with the 16 year old as his passenger when another personal watercraft hit his. The other driver, Isaac H. Brattin, 18, of Monett, had no reported injuries at the time of the incident.
Both drivers and the passenger were wearing life jackets at the time of the collision.
