Two injured, one air lifted in Seligman wreck

Two Barry County residents were seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash near Seligman early this week.
On Monday, a 1995 Dodge Dakota Pickup was traveling westbound on DD Highway three miles west of Seligman. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the truck, driven by William A. Rickson, 25, of Seligman, went off the roadway, struck and tree and overturned.
William and his passenger Kenny D. Rickson, 48, of Washburn, were seriously injured in the crash that occurred just after midnight. Kenny was transported to Northwest Hospital and Bentonville, Ark., and William was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield by air ambulance.
Neither of the Ricksons were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. The Dakota was totaled and towed from the scene by Wilson’s Wrecker.
