Vaccine registration now open for all Mo. residents

As of April 9, all Missouri residents become eligible for CoVID-19 vaccination. Barry County Health Department is happy to announce two new vaccination clinics. The drive-through clinics are being held in Cassville on April 9 and 10, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Residents must register using the Missouri Vaccine Navigator website. All interested persons can register online at https://covidvaccine.mo.gov/navigator private event code 76014 or by phone at 877-435-8411; online registration is open 7 days a week.
All of the following phases are open as of April 9, and all persons can be vaccinated.
• Phase 1A - Patient-Facing Health Care Workers and Long-Term Care Facility Residents and Staff.
Phase 1B
• Tier 1 Worker Information: Protecting those who keep us safe and help during emergencies.
• Tier 2 High-Risk Individuals: Protecting those who are at increased risk for severe illness.
• Tier 3 Critical Infrastructure: Protecting those who keep the essential functions of society running.
• Phase 2, Equity & Economic Recovery: Protecting those who have been disproportionately affected and
accelerating economic recovery.
• Phase 3, Remaining Unvaccinated Populations.
Roger Brock, Administrator of the Barry County Health Department, commented, “We are happy to be able to offer vaccines to all Barry County residents.”
He noted that as of April 9, everyone who wants a vaccination can get a vaccination.
“With each additional vaccination, we move closer to a return to normality,” Brock said, then commended his staff. “I am proud of our Public Health team, who have worked seven days a week for the past year to ensure the health of Barry County residents.”
