Woman airlifted after boating accident

An Aurora woman had to be airlifted last week when she fell off an inner tube on Table Rock Lake near Big M Marina on Saturday. According to the boating incident report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Debra R. Roberts, 41, fell off of an inner tube she was being towed on behind a boat around 1:18 p.m. on Saturday, June 4.
According to the report, Christopher S. Drost, 17, of Purdy, was driving a 1996 Chappal 23’ Runabout around Big M Marina with Roberts being towed on an inner tube. While Roberts only suffered minor injuries, she had to be airlifted and transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for her injuries.
Both Roberts and Drost were wearing life jackets at the time of the incident.
