For those who vote in Purdy or Butterfield, your polling place has changed. This will only be temporary and the Barry County Clerk's office will keep voters updated before each election.
For the March 10, 2020, Presidential Preference Primary, Purdy voters will vote at The Gathering Place, located at the corner of Hwy. 37 and Old Business 37, Purdy.
For the March 10, 2020 Presidential Preference Primary, and all future elections unless stated otherwise, Butterfield voters will vote at the Butterfield Fire Station, located at 10600 E 1st St, Butterfield, MO 65623.

Barry County delegate selection for Democratic Presidential Primary will be held in Cassville
The Barry County Democratic Committee will host a county-wide mass meeting on Monday, April 6, 2020, at the Barry County Courthouse, 700 Main Street, Cassville starting at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. Primary voters will caucus to be elected as Presidential delegates to the Congressional District and State Democratic Conventions.
Barry County Democrats will elect delegates according to the results of the Presidential Preference Election on March 10. Voters are encouraged to participate in caucusing to select the delegates for their preferred candidate. These delegates will be responsible for selecting the Congressional Level and State Level Presidential Electors that will cast their vote for President Nominee at the 2020 Democratic National Convention (DNC).
Participation is open to anyone who is registered to vote in Barry County and who participates in the March 10th Presidential Preference Primary Election. For those interested in becoming DNC Electors, participation in the Democratic 29th Congressional District Convention (April 30th in Springfield) and the Missouri Democratic State Convention (June 20th in Kansas City) is required as well.
“This is an exciting and tense year. I am hopeful that we will have positive energy based on the excellent Democratic candidates running this year. As a newcomer, I want to provide an open and accessible meeting for individuals wishing to actively participate,” said Maella Blalock, Chairperson of the Barry County Democratic Committee.

Polling place changes for Purdy, Butterfield
The Barry County Clerk’s Office will be open Saturday, March 7, 2020, for absentee voting for the Presidential Preference Election from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Absentee voting in person continues through Monday, March 9, 2020, at the Barry County Clerk’s Office in Cassville from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
You must present one form of identification to vote. For example, a Driver’s License or Voter Registration Card.
If you have moved and have an address change, you need to contact their office or come into the clerk’s office and have your information updated before election day. If you wait till election day, it will hold up the line.
Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. on election day.
