6th annual Fish Fry and
Big Bass Tournament promises
a “reel” good time and big prizes

The Holiday Island Chamber of Commerce will hold its 6th annual Fish Fry on Friday, May 17, and its 6th annual Big Bass Tournament on Saturday, May 18.
These events are intertwined so that any member of the public may participate within this dynamic fishing occasion. Anyone who considers fishing more of a passion than a past-time is invited to prove their skills on the water. The tournament is a means for all non-professional fisherman to win some incredible prizes.
The Fish Fry will be held at The Barn on Holiday Island, located at 120 Shields Drive, in Holiday Island, Arkansas, from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, May 17. The event will feature raffles including a Fletcher’s Fishing Guide Service package, a top performing Igloo cooler, and two, two-night stays at Table Rock Landing. Tickets for the fish fry are $15 for adults (12 and up) and $12 for kids (11 and under). Live music during the event will be the Date Night Band. Tickets can be purchased at the Farmhouse Restaurant, Ms. Kitty’s Thrift Shop, Holiday Island Chamber of Commerce, Eagle Rock Real Estate, and at the door the night of the event. Free tickets are provided to those participating in the Saturday Bass Tournament to allow anglers a meet and greet.
The Bass Tournament will be held at Eagle Rock Marina, located directly off Hwy. 86, in Eagle Rock this year as it outgrew the Holiday Island Marina. The tournament will run from 7 a.m-3 p.m. on Saturday, May 18. There is a registration fee of $100 per entrant which includes a free t-shirt, a free ticket to the Fish Fry on Friday night, as well as a goody bag. Registration will be accepted up until one hour before the tournament (6 a.m.) on Saturday, May 18. Online registration can be made at https://www.hichamber.com/big-bass-tournament/.
The Bass Tournament features some outstanding prizes: 1st prize: $3,000, 2nd prize: $1,500, and 3rd prize: Kayak (valued at $1,300).
Weigh in times will be at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Each of those hours is a chance to win additional cash prizes for biggest fish with 1st prize: $300, 2nd prize: $200, and 3rd prize: $100.
