Accident results results in moderate injuries for Aurora man

    Parker T. Abramovitz, 31, of Aurora, suffered moderate injuries when his westbound 2007 Buick Lucerne crossed the center line on Highway 248, four miles west of Cassville, and sideswiped an eastbound 2007 Dodge Ram and its towed unit, driven by Andrew A. Goans, 46, of Springfield.

    Abramovitz was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
    Goans suffered minor injuries and his vehicle was driven from the scene.
    Abramovitz was uninsured and was not wearing a safety device. His car was totaled and was towed from the scene by Brice’s Towing in Cassville.

    The accident occurred at 6 p.m., October 11.
    It was investigated by Corporal J. E. Given, of the Missouri Highway Patrol, Troop D.
