Accidents result in injuries

According to an investigation conducted by SGT. J.E. Givens, two vehicles were totaled in a car accident on April 30, at 12:50 p.m. Mackenzie L. Fuller (19, of Monett), was driving northbound on highway 37 in Purdy, when her 2000 Dodge Dakota struck the rear of a 2013 Nissan Altima driven by Stacey L. Green (50), of Seligman. Both vehicles were totaled.
Both women were wearing a safety device.
Green suffered minor injuries abd was transported by a private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.
Both cars were insured.
The Altima was towed by Skinkis in Seligman.
The Dakota was towed by Thomas Towing in Monett.
In another accident on May 3 at 7 a.m., Kelsey D. Millikin (24), of Stella, was driving east in her 2000 Chevrolet Silverado on Highway W, three miles west of Butterfield, when her vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, returned, over-corrected, then over-turned.
Millikin suffered serious injuries. She was not wearing a safety device.
She was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Her totaled vehicle, which was insured, was towed by Brice’s Wrecker.
The accident was investigated by MSGT J. Givens of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
