Annual land tax sale to be held August 24

August 12, 2020
Skyler Bowman, Barry County Collector, will be holding the Annual Barry County Land Tax Sale on Monday, August 24, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Courthouse in Cassville.

Due to COVID-19 we are limiting one person per bid number to be in the court room during the sale.
Anyone interested in purchasing delinquent properties at the Land Sale needs to come into the Collector’s Office prior to 10:00 A.M. on the date of the sale to sign in and obtain a bid number.

Any out of state resident desiring to buy land at the sale will need to appoint a Missouri resident as their Agent.  The Agent forms needed for this appointment are available in the Collector’s office.

Bidding will begin with the taxes and cost against the property as advertised and will be sold to the highest bidder.  Copies of the parcels that will be auctioned are available on-line at barrycountycollector.com or in the Collector’s office.
