Area accidents result in injuries

• According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, on July 14 at 7:20 p. m., Donna Sugg, 53, of Prairie Grove, AR, was eastbound in a 2011 Kia Forte when she ran off of Farm Road 2250, went down an embankment, and her vehicle overturned. Sugg and her three-year-old passenger were taken to Mercy Hospital of Rogers, Arkansas, by Mercy EMS with minor injuries. Both occupants were wearing safety devices. The vehicle was totaled.
• According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, on July 15 at 11:10 a.m., a juvenile, 14, of Ward, Colorado, was driving an eastbound 2006 John Deer Gator with three occupants: two juveniles, and Madison Blake, 26, of Pompana, FL. The juvenile lost control of the vehicle, swerved left, and overturned on Bridgeview Drive, one half-mile from Shell Knob. All occupants were ejected; none were wearing safety devices. They were later transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with minor or moderate injuries
• According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sunday evening, July 18, at 6:15 p.m., a juvenile female, 11, of Derby, Kansas, was driving a Polaris Ranger Side by Side with passenger Joy Confer, 57, also of Derby, Kansas. While westbound on Centerwood Lane in Shell Knob, the juvenile lost control of the vehicle, causing it to travel across the roadway and overturn. Neither driver nor occupant were wearing safety devices. Confer was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries. The Highway Patrol report doesn’t mention the injuries of the juvenile. The vehicle suffered minor damage and was driven from the scene.
