Area wrecks result in serious injuries

• According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Michael T. Nash (48), of Cassville, suffered serious injuries on November 16 at 3:50 p.m. when his 2021 Harley Davidson Sport Glide struck debris in the roadway on Highway 248, three miles east of Cassville. The westbound motorcycle then traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned, ejecting the driver.
    Nash, who was wearing a safety device, was transported by life flight to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
    The Harley was towed from the scene by Brice’s Wrecker Service.
    The accident was investigated by Trooper T. L. Coffey with Troop D, Missouri State Highway Patrol.
• According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Barry N. Tidwell (61), of Golden, suffered serious injuries on November 17 at 2:35 p.m. when his southbound 2008 Chevrolet Uplander failed to negotiate a curve on Route J, in Golden. The vehicle then traveled off the roadway, struck the ground, a cable box and a tree.
    Tidwell was not wearing a safety device and his vehicle was uninsured. He was transported by Mercy Life Line to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
    The vehicle was towed from the scene by Table Rock Auto Clinic.
    The accident was investigated by Msgt. J. E. Givens with Troop D, Missouri State Highway Patrol.
