Arkansas man arrested for allegedly holding gun to woman

One man was arrested for three different charges after allegedly threatening to kill a woman. Charles Duncan Key, 44, of Bentonville, Ark., was arrested after the incident on 13th Street in Cassville on May 11.
According to an affidavit of probable cause from the Cassville Police Department, Key went to the victim’s residence and physically assaulted her. The statement says that Key pushed her out of a chair, causing her to hit her head on the night stand, picked her up and punched her in the head and upper body. When she tried to escape, Key allegedly continued the beating, hitting and kicking her.
Key then proceeded to pull out a Browning 9 mm pistol and held it to her head, saying that she was going to die. The victim escaped and ran across the street. When she returned, she discovered the Key had stolen her cell phone and dog.
Key is currently being held in the Barry County Jail in lieu of a $35,000 cash-only bond.
