Barry County Commissioners Lift Burn Ban

Effective August 11, 2022, the Barry County Commissioners, under advisement of the Barry County Fire Chiefs Association, lifted the county wide burn ban.
Be advised that the burn ban is subject to go back into place should weather conditions return to dry and low humidity.
Continue to use safe burning practices. Keep fire a minimum of 75 feet from a building. Do not leave a fire unattended. Have a water source nearby. Be prepared to extinguish your fire if the winds pick up.
Report any controlled burns to the Barry County Dispatch Center at 417-847-3121.
