Books donated to Central Crossing Senior Center benefits multiple communities
July 31, 2019
Since its inception, Central Crossing Senior Center (CCSC) has continually worked to broaden your reading choices and enhance your reading experiences. To achieve that goal, they strive to update and stock reading material according to requests by the users of their recreational library. In an effort to keep local choices up-to-date, books which have already been enjoyed locally or are duplicates will be recycled to other communities. Typically, CCSC Recreational Library will donate such books to Kimberling City Senior Center, as well as near-by retirement facilities and churches. Beneficiaries include mobile and home-bound seniors.
By sharing with other senior centers, all can benefit from the generosity of those who have donated. The center urges you to keep up that generous support of donated books, books on CD and other reading material. By doing so, you are enhancing the reading enjoyment of local seniors as well as neighbors in surrounding areas.
