Each year, the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHAA) invites athletic directors from across the state to honor a male and female athlete who exemplifies outstanding sportsmanship, is a positive role model and has outstanding behavior. Doug Martin, Cassville High School athletics/activities director, selected senior Keaton Artherton and junior Alexis Mann to receive the MSHAA Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity Award. "Both Alexis and Keaton exemplify sportsmanship on and off the field," stated Martin."These student athletes are an example to our younger Wildcats as to what it means to not only excel at their sport but also an example of how to be a great teammate and play with class." Mann is the daughter of Jennifer and Gerry Mann, of Cassville. Artherton is the son of Trudy and Brian Artherton of Cassville.
