Small Business Scavenger Hunt keeps it local

November 26, 2020
Sheila Harris

November 28 marks Small Business Saturday. It’s also the day for Cassville’s second annual Small Business Scavenger Hunt.
Event organizer, Charli Jo Baugh, of Tomblin’s Jewelry in Cassville, says nine Cassville businesses have signed up to participate.
“Each business will donate a gift item of their choice,” Baugh said. “When shoppers come into the business, they will receive a clue which will lead them to a particular item. For example, maybe it will be ‘Find Santa in his workshop,’ or “Find the heart-shaped diamond.’ When the shopper finds the item, their name is entered into a drawing to be held December 5.”
Baugh said shoppers may earn extra points by taking a pic with the item and posting it to their Facebook page.
On December 5, the names of participating businesses will be placed in one bucket, and the names of shoppers will be placed in another. The person whose name is drawn which corresponds with the name of the business drawn will be the winner of that store’s prize.
Participating businesses include At the River Consignment, Designs by Debbie, Diva Bling & The Tiny Highlander Boutique, Forever Yours Embroidery, Habitat ReStore, Sunshine Tanning & More, The Pink Zebra Boutique, Tomblin’s Jewelry & Gift and Whitley Pharmacy.
