Cassville crowns Mr. and Miss Merry Christmas

Cassville High School’s Mr. and Miss Merry Christmas were crowned at an assembly on Friday, December 19. Students were nominated by the Student Council to participate, and the winners were chosen based on how much money they raised for the Share Your Christmas Program that provides gifts to underprivileged children in Barry County.
This year, nominees raised $12,390.05 for the program. The top money earners were senior Stussy Stephenson with $2,815 and sophomore Camillle Holman with $3,788.71. Camille’s crown was donated by Jewelers of America.
Stussy is the son of Kent and Amy Stephenson, of Cassville. He participates in band, choir, jazz band, FFA, Student Council and National Honor Society. Camille is the daughter of Audy and Bettie Holman, of Cassviley. She is involved in volleyball, FCA, FBLA, centerstage and track.
Other candidates include: senior Kallie Shae Dickson. Kallie is the daughter of Russell and Kellie Dickson, of Cassville. Junior candidates were Kiley Wolf and Leigh Cox. Kiley is the daughter of Denny and Melissa Wolf, of Jenkins. Leigh is the son of Duane and Angela Cox, of Cassville. Sophomore candidate Kyle Ruark is the son of Michele Phelps, of Cassville.  Freshmen candidates were Jesse Edie and Jeremiah Fisher. Jesse is the daughter of Chuck and Jamie Edie, of Cassville. Jeremiah is the son of Travis and Janet Fisher, of Cassville.
