Street Resurfacing Scheduled in Cassville

Chappell Drive and the South Park Trail will be paved on Thursday, September 2. The affected portion of the walking trail will be closed until after the asphalt has cooled.
On Friday, September 3, milling equipment will complete preparatory work on West Street, Cedar Drive, Vine Street, Birch Drive and Bee Tree. Asphalt paving on these streets will begin on Tuesday, September 7 and is expected to conclude on Thursday.
The schedule may be affected by adverse weather or other factors. Milling machines and asphalt pavers will restrict driveway access for short periods and cause intermittent lane closures. Drivers may be temporarily inconvenienced as progress is made, but there will be no formal or extended street closures.
