Cassville School Board
holds special meeting
April 28, 2021
Tuesday, Cassville Community Teachers Association (CCTA) representatives met with Dr. Richard Asbill regarding the current fiscal status and plans for the Cassville R-IV District, with a specific look at salary and welfare options for district personnel.
A review of the health insurance benefit cost was evaluated and reviewed. Current expenditure and revenue trends within the district budget were discussed and reviewed, as well as options for salary and hourly wage rates for certified and classified employees. The committee will meet again May 12 to review those options.
After the CCTA meeting, the Board of Education met to review current employment recommendations.
The Board approved the employment recommendations for:
• Emily Pry, Middle School (Science)
• Angela Burns, Eunice Thomas Elementary - Kindergarten
• Lindsay Halterman, Middle School - PE/Health
• Tyler Wills, High School Principal
The district currently still has position vacancies for MS PE/Health (Boys), MS Social Studies, Elementary Special Education, Middle School Counselor, and building three (3) level aide positions.
