Cassville tracksters move on to sectionals

David Oliphant earned three medals to lead the Cassville contingent at the Class 3 District 6 track meet at Lamar on Saturday.
Oliphant finished second in the long jump (6.05m), second in the triple jump (12.2m), and second in the 100 meter dash (11.64).
Bradan Dickinson finished second in the shot (13.9m), while Both Peter Littlefield and Eli Pickett placed fourth in their individual events. Littlefield cleared 1.67m in the high jump, and Pickett cleared 3.05m in the pole vault.
The Cassville boys placed third in the 4zx 100m relay, running 47.30.
Kyren Postlewait led the Cassville girls, winning the shot (11.98m) and placing third in the javelin (29.13m). Hannah Hackler earned two medals, placing third in the 200 (27.96) and 4th in the 100 (13.31).
Riley Morris took second in the discus (29.34m), Marianne McCrackin finished fourth in the 300m hurdles (52.13), Annie Moore placed third in the pole vault (2.15m), and Sharayah Seymour finished fourth in the high jump (1.42m).
The Ladycats qualified in three of the four relays: first in the 4x800 (10:56.41), first in the 4x200 (1:52.89), and second in the 4x100 (52.45).
These Cassville athletes will compete at the Class 3 sectional at Camdenton on Saturday.
