CMS Academic Team places at Mt. Vernon

The Big 8 Conference Middle School Academic Meet was held in Mt. Vernon on Saturday and Cassville Middle School (CMS) finished the meet in second place. Eleven schools participated in the competition. CMS was seeded sixth after morning round robin play. Victories over Reeds Spring and Marshfield, during bracket play, advanced them to the final round against Mt. Vernon. Andrew Gray received a medal for being one of the top six individual scorers from the five morning rounds of play. Pictured is the Academic Team and their sponsor.
