CMS names Students of the Month

Cassville Middle School recently announced the Students of the Month for January 2020. Students are nominated by CMS teachers and coaches based upon academic excellence, perseverance or improvement, displaying exemplary citizenship and are a positive influence on school culture. The January Cassville Middle School Students of the Month, sponsored by Willis Insurance, are pictured in the front row, from left to right: 7th grader Mallery Cornell, daughter of Maggie and Jeffrey Cornell, of Cassville; 8th grader Madison Scallorn, daughter of Cynthia Philpott and James Sprague, of Eagle Rock; and 6th grader Isabel Herrin, daughter of Cordelia and Brent Herrin, of Aurora. Students are pictured with Mr. Jimmie Barton, CMS principal; and representatives from Willis Insurance Jeremy Marple, Andy Reavis and Annette Henderson. Students of the Month receive Cassville Cash, a Subway gift-card and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with Mr. Barton.
