Community Spirit on Display at Wheaton Christmas Parade

    Above, the Southwest High School Trojan Marching Band delighted parade-goers with eye-catching uniforms and an outstanding musical performance.
    Wheaton’s annual Christmas Parade drew a huge crowd of participants and onlookers Saturday night in spite of the chilly temperatures. The cold weather prompted one group of parade-goers to start a campfire in their personal fire-pit, an idea many people nearby wished they had considered.
    The spirit of community, Christmas and undiluted Americana were on full display at the Saturday night event.
