Crowder students place in state leadership competition

May 13, 2020
PictureSeth Hogue, of Butler, a Crowder College student, qualified to attend National Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership competition.
Crowder College had nine students place in the annual Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership competition. This year’s participants competed virtually. Five of these students earned the opportunity to compete in the national event in June. Previously scheduled to be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, the event will also be held via online options.

“With having to compete virtually, it was a bit different this year for our students but we are very proud of them and how well they performed.  Each year we compete against most of the state colleges and universities including MU and Missouri State.  Our achievements show that we have some of the best students in the state and they represent Crowder College very well,” stated Chris Fenske, PBL Advisor.
