Duane Kaiser elected to MO Farm Bureau Board

Duane Kaiser, of Monett, was elected to a to a two-year term on the Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB) board of directors during the organization’s 105th annual meeting December 10 at the Lake of the Ozarks. Kaiser represents District 7 in southwest Missouri and replaces retiring board member Lane Baxter, of Springfield.

Kaiser is a retired agriculture education teacher and currently raises 70 registered Jersey and Guernsey dairy cows, and 40 beef cows. The original homestead became a Century Farm in 2014. He is also a part-time agriculture teacher in Pierce City. He earned a bachelor’s of science degree from Missouri State University and a master’s in vocational education from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

He and his wife, Colleen, are Barry County Farm Bureau members where he served as county president. Through MOFB, Kaiser is involved in the District 7 PAC, dairy committee and resolutions committee.

The couple has three grown children.
